Close to nature with AnitaCare® breast prostheses and compensation aids
The AnitaCare breast prostheses and compensation aids are made of silicone and an polyurethane film covering which conceals the somewhat oily surface. Dermatological and physiological tests have show that these products are absolutely safe to wear in a bra or swimsuit.
Both silicone and polyurethane film are made of natural substances. The advantage of the AnitaCare polyurethane film is the natural feeling with a skin-like texture, almost like a second skin. The film is also tough and resistant to grease, oil, chlorine and salt water. Puncture-like damage which can occur, for example, with brooch needles, animal claws or rough surfaces, can tear the film and cause irreparable damage. AnitaCare has been making silicone breast prostheses since the seventies. One advantage of silicone is the excellent skin and body compatibility. In addition its weight, softness, movement and appearance when you are lying down is very similar to that of a natural breast. You will also be surprised that you will not notice any difference in temperature between the prosthesis and your body after a very short time. This is due to the fact that silicone is very similar to human fat tissue and has a very high heat conductivity. The softness of this material gives you a secure and natural feeling.
