We look after our employees!

When cyclone Nargis - a tropical hurricane - struck Myanmar in May 2008, a huge number of lives were shattered. Not only did the cyclone cause damage to our company premises in Yangon, Myanmar; it completely destroyed the homes of many of our employees.

Under the instruction of company owner Georg Weber-Unger, an aid fund was set up straight away and donations were collected across the entire company. Around 40,000 US dollars were raised and made available to the employees in Myanmar.

ANITA campaigns for women who have undergone breast surgery

Charity events are nothing new. In recent years, such initiatives have sprung up like mushrooms, with charitable associations being found everywhere. Unfortunately, this means that the charitable element sometimes gets lost and the whole thing becomes commercialised.

Having said this, there are of course some small and effective campaigns which, with the help of others, can really make a difference.

ANITA has supported several types of local charity projects for numerous years. And their success has not gone unnoticed: A total of 200,000 Euros has been raised since 2006. Thank you for your fantastic support!

Little bear for a good cause

Our little bear campaign was started in 2005. The little bears were passed on at cost price to specialist retailers stocking Anita products. ANITA donates one euro per bear sold.

Since the beginning of this campaign, ANITA has been able to donate a sum of over 150,000 euros to cancer charities including "Susan G. Komen for the Cure".

ANITA takes a stand for mums suffering from cancer and their children.

In 2013, ANITA organised another local donation campaign. A €1 donation was made for every purchase of an ANITA or ROSA FAIA bra with a bow.

A total of 5,000 euros were collected, which were then passed on to the Rexrodt von Fircks foundation. The organisation supports mothers suffering from breast cancer and their families, helping them get their health back on track and embrace the joys of life once more.
