Size

When it comes to bras, base your measurements on a well-fitting bra, preferably one without underwires.

The measured size serves as a guideline. The actual size for the best comfort of each customer can only be determined by trying the item on!

Underbust measurement

Take the measurement by holding the tape directly under the bust (1).

This measurement determines the bra size.

Bust measurement

Place the tape directly over the widest point of the breast without digging in.

Use the chart to find out the cup size

Pants size

To work out the pants size, measure the waist (3) by holding the tape horizontally around the smallest part of the waist.

Measure the hips (4) by holding the tape horizontally around the widest part of the hips.

If there is a considerable difference between the waist and hip measurement, always take the larger size.

Calculate the perfect bra size

Step 1: Take your underbust measurement

1. Place the measuring tape flat against your skin – directly under your breasts. Make sure that the tape runs horizontally around your torso and is at the same height under your breast as on your back. Allow your arms to hang down naturally and breathe as usual.

2. Tighten the measuring tape a little and round the measurement up or down to the next full number. (Example: Round up to 73 cm if you have measured 72.8 cm or round down to 72 cm if the measurement shows 72.2 cm)

3. Move the slider to that position.

Step 2: Measure your bust circumference

1. Place the measuring band flat against the largest part of your breasts – that will usually be at the height of the nipples. Once again, make sure that the tape is horizontal and at the same height on your front and back, and that you stand up straight.

2. Round the measurement up or down as before to get a full cm value.

3. Move the slider to that position.

Your bra size

The result should primarily be used as a guide. Every woman is unique – and so is her bust. The most important thing here is that the bra fits perfectly and you feel comfortable wearing it. Find out here how you will know it fits correctly.

Our tip: Try some different types of bras and some so-called cross-over sizes (example: Your calculated bra size is 75C – the relevant cross-over sizes will be 80B and 70D).

The wide straps and wide band make this bra comfortable. Unfortunately, two features that make it not so comfortable:
1. the cup material is thin and has a thick horizontal seam running in the middle of it (I prefer Anita's soft padded cups)
2. this bra does NOT have adjustable straps, so I am not getting the best fit. This bra was expensive and I would not buy it again.

This is a very comfortable bra. I too am waiting for the return of size 36D in the lighter colors. It has been about a year since these have been available. I communicated with staff at this site who said this size would be available again approximately mid-March 2020, but hasn't happened yet. Please resume production when able.

A wonderfully designed brassiere, easy and comfortable to wear all day. I especially enjoy the design of th should straps. 4 rows of hooks/eyes and wide band is terrific. I typically wear this Anita with a tall 16-19 inch girdle!
